Shepherd’s Care Home was founded by Patricia Barakas in 2007. In 2013, Nicole Carter joined as a partner, and since then, the company has evolved into AAA Shepherd’s Care Home LLC. We now have two locations in Dallas, OR: Ironwood and Reed Lane.
Patricia has an extensive background as a caregiver in various care settings. She has worked in skilled nursing and in-home care and has experience working for the Oregon State Hospital. More recently, she has been an owner and operator of Adult Care Homes since 2013.
Nicole started her caregiving journey when she was 18 years old. She became a certified nursing assistant in 2007 and has experience in skilled nursing, home health work, and, more recently, owning and operating adult care homes since 2013
